Chatsworth house
Hey, so it turns out that my class is going on a trip to the one and only Chatsworth house so here's a little research into what we may find there.
On the official Chatsworth house website under exhabitions there is a list of eight different exhibitions taking place.
the first exhibition is called world class. This exhibition began on the 1st July- 09th November, in this exhibition are pictures from the old Devenshire collection will be on display to the public for the first time in 100 years.
This collection consists of over 300 works from Itallian and Northan schools, there will be 12 of these amaizing works on display in a area specially built for these masterpeices.
The second exhibition is A hundred years of house parties. This celebraites Chatsworth house and what it has gone through throughout the years. the gallery will be revamped for this occasion making it more jampcked. It also celebrates upstairs and downstairs residence.
The third exhibition is William Turnbull at Chatsworth house. Variouse peices of Turnbull's work are currently being shown at Chatsworth this includes drawings, paintings and sculpture. This exhibition yakes place from the 10th march - 30th June 2013.
The fourth exhibition is the Old Master Drawings Cabinet Landscapes and begins the 10 March - 31 July 2013The art of the landscape, including drawings by Rembrandt, is celebrated in the second display of Old Master Drawings.

The Duke's sister paints favourite plants at home and away

Botanical artist and sister of the Duke of Devonshire, Emma Tennant exhibits watercolours recording the garden at Chatsworth over the course of a year.


The sixth exhibitio is A Georgian Summer
begining on the 27 July - 29 August 2013
Celebrating the bicentenary of the publication of Pride & Prejudice

To complement the Modern Makers exhibition, designs for interiors and luxury goods will be on display, by artists from Holbein to Watteau.

18 September to 23 December
For the first time contemporary applied art will be showcased in the New Gallery. Makers including Joseph Walsh, Maisie Broadhead and Junko Mori will create furniture, ceramics, metalwork and textiles to create a fresh take on our own State rooms.
